Every gift—big or small—helps the groundbreaking biotech non-profit n-Lorem make Ivy the precision genetic treatment she needs.

A rare genetic race against time

Ivy is one of only three children known to have her specific, ultra-rare mutation of the GRIA2 glutamate receptor gene. At just 18 months old, she is already grappling with multiple features of GRIA2 neurodevelopmental disorder including drug-resistant epilepsy, cerebral vision impairment, and serious developmental delays.

Without intervention, this toxic mutation will continue to damage her brain cells, causing irreversible and widespread harm. We aren't just fighting a diagnosis, we are fighting to stop the clock before her brain begins losing the ability to re-root and re-grow.

A precision treatment for Ivy

Ivy’s only hope is a personalized Antisense Oligonucleotide (ASO) treatment. This ASO is designed to silence her harmful, mutated GRIA2 copy while allowing her healthy copy to function normally.

We have partnered with the n-Lorem Foundation, a world-renowned non-profit that has already successfully treated 50 patients with a spotless safety record. Their rigorous process can deliver this life-changing medicine to Ivy—but only if we hit our funding goals.

Our Goal: Raise the necessary funds by March 2027 to begin clinical treatment before Ivy turns five, giving her the precision medicine she needs to thrive.
